I suppose that in countering evil spells or black magic, the greatest harm to ourselves is the Fear generated within ourselves. Once a Rinpoche (Shampa Rinpoche) told me that for Black Magic to work, the victim must be psychologically made/"lured" to feel and fear the effect of the Black Magic, so much so that the slightest discomfort in his body would be inproportionally manifested and be blamed on the supposedly psychic attack. Therefore, the Fear factor alone can wreck havoc on the victim of Black Magic, even causing him to act irrationally and driving him to seek self-destruction, or even harm those who are close to him. He advocated that the victim prayed to Buddha earnestly, so that he could receive the Holy Lights blessing and protecting him.
Vice versa, when we wish to counter the negative effect of psychic attack or Black Magic, we should have Faith in ourselves and in Whoever we call upon to protect us. So, chanting a simple prayer, calling upon whoever our God, the Angels or Devas or Deities that are close to our heart and earnestly asking for their protection, before we fall asleep, is one simple counter measure. You can call this a "countering spell"...
Some objects such as natural stones may also help. Once an Italian cook came to me asking me for advice on how to counter the "Evil Eye" spell, and I gave him a hematite pendant to wear as protection. A year later, he met me again and told me that the pendant worked, and since then he had not been harassed by the Black Magic.
Hematite serves as a magic mirror not only deflecting the psychic assault but reflecting it back to the originator. Wearing a piece or keeping one below the pillorw would be helpful for a good night rest. We can also similarly use some high vibrational stones such as white quartz, amethyst, tektite and even moldavite. I also recommend hanging some faceted cut natural stones - best to use either white quartz or smoky quartz balls at the entry points to the room - the doors and windows. Using a good piece of laser wand - white quartz, or selenite or kyanite - to seal off all the entry points - doors and windows- would also work in some cases. To do that, we hold the laser wands in our right hand and trace the outlines or the edge of the windows and doors from right to left, saying whatever prayers appropriate and forming an intention that the pure white lights from the stones etched along the edges of the windows and doors would serve to ward off all uninvited negative energies.
Sometimes, when I feel the presence of evil in my room, I invoke the Etheric Pyramid, and spin it counter clockwise to clean the confined space. Bringing down the White Lights, or Golden Lights, and flooding the room also works.
I remember reading about one writer of a book on psychic defense describing how we should best defend ourselves against black magic. Her unconventional view is to compose pink compassionate light from our heart and channel it across space and time to the source of the black magic. She suggested that instead of begrudging or showing hatred to the originator of the negative auric attack, we are supposed not only to forgive him but shower him with unconditional love.....How many of us can do this?
Sometimes you make a comment to people that they misunderstand. Others, you really make it to annoy them because you can't stand that their life is better than yours. There are people who are into the occult and can cast revenge spells on you. They won't go around screaming it into the world. If you suspect a person that you offended is of this type, what's left is only to protect yourself.
Banish
The easiest way to cast protection spells is to banish. This shields you so that black magic spells can't get to you, and the same is true if someone sends a negative spirit to harm you. If you moved to a haunted house, you can banish any spirits there.
There are many banishing rituals, the most popular being the Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. However, many people nowadays are against religion and don't resonate with protection spells such as the LBRP, since it requires you to repeat biblical phrases and vibrate the names of biblical deities. You can also come up with your own banishing rituals. Their downside is that their effects only last half a day and they are unlikely to remove revenge spells once they are set.
Protection Spells
You can cast protection spells against black magic. It's wise to also protect your loved ones in case your attacker has no scruples. You will suffer more if harm is done to your loved ones than if it is done to you. He knows this. Often, protection spells can be done without the awareness of your family. The ones against harm will only diminish the impact of revenge spells.
Black Magic Spells Removal
When you already have revenge spells on you, the best you can do is a spell to remove them. It doesn't matter whether it's a candle, herb or Tarot spell. This is not the same as cleansing yourself with an egg which won't serve the purpose. Some spells to remove black magic spells will also reverse their effects so that the person who cast them received a dose of his own medicine. Keep in mind that if he put revenge spells on you it means he's not likely a novice with magick, so you don't want to continue the warfare. It'd be best to just remove the black magic spells off your person and move on.
These precautions will allow you to feel more relaxed about someone casting revenge spells on you. Don't wait to take action because they can cause serious harm or even death. Going to the church or praying won't help. I knew a Catholic priest that according to my suspicions died as a result of black magic spells. There are people who will cast them on you for any little thing.
